Firms reported a median 10% year-over-year decline in temporary staffing revenue in July. That compares to a 19% decline reported in June. Only two staffing segments posted median year-over-year revenue growth in July: Travel nursing, up a median 5%, and life sciences, up a median 3%. Still, year-over-year revenue growth in travel nursing was down compared to June’s survey, where it grew 14%. Travel nursing and engineering/design were the only segments where revenue growth decelerated in July compared to June. SIA’s Pulse survey took place earlier this month and included 173 staffing companies.
